The Surat Advantage
Why We Reject 499 out of 500 Diamonds.
Most diamond retailers accept everything from their suppliers. We don't. Our forensic vetting process ensures only the top 0.2% of stones ever make it to our inventory.
The Middleman Problem
Every layer adds cost. None add value. By the time a diamond reaches you through traditional channels, you're paying for offices in Mumbai, New York, and your local mall.
Factory-Direct from Surat
We work directly with Surat's top CVD laboratories. No exporters. No US wholesalers. No retail markup. Just verified diamonds at transparent, factory-direct prices.
The Forensic Promise
What We Reject β And Why
We use spectroscopy, FTIR analysis, and magnification testing to detect flaws invisible to the naked eye. If it's not perfect, we don't sell it.
Blue Nuance (HPHT)
HPHT diamonds often exhibit a blue "nuance" due to boron contamination. Under UV light or bright sunlight, these stones look steely and unnatural.
Rejected: ~70% of HPHT stonesBrown Tinge (CVD)
Lower-quality CVD growth can leave residual brown or gray tints in the crystal lattice. These "milky" stones lack brilliance and fire.
Rejected: ~40% of CVD stonesStrain Patterns
Internal stress during growth creates "graining" visible under polarized light. These affect light performance and long-term durability.
Rejected: ~50% of all stonesWhat We Accept
Type IIa CVD diamonds with:
- Zero brown or gray tint
- No blue nuance
- Minimal strain patterns
- Excellent symmetry & polish
- IGI/GIA certification
